Original basket boat in high water

Basket boats were used for air-sea rescue and had two large neoprene “hoops” over the tubes to support a covering against the elements. River companies cut off these hoops but this private boater hasn’t done that on this more modern basket boat (orange color shows this) as it gets crunched in the tail waves after Bailey Falls, in high water.
