Description:
This is the actual order of the California State Water Resources Control Board that lifted the restrictions on filling New Melones Reservoir established in its Decision 1422 in 1973. Related material in the hearing packet is here. This action by the Board was taken after an El Nino year brought huge rains that flooded the reservoir well above Parrott’s Ferry (the limit set in the 1973 Decision 1422).
