Robin Magneson rowing just below Parrott’s Ferry

Robin Magneson (later Center) in August 1973 rowing on the lower Stanislaus, near the Parrott’s Ferry take out, after outfitter William (Bill) McGinnis picked her up at her camp near Chicken Falls. Robin became an etc guide and was very active with FOR and the Stanislaus campaigns. She and guide Bill Center married in 1977 and took over Camp Lotus on the American River, though Bill passed away (far too early) in 2017.  Kathy Meyer is in the back of the raft.  (Kathy Meyer’s in rear right.)
