etc co-founder Fred Dennis working on a raft on the Stanislaus River

Fred Dennis a long time guide, was co-founder of etc with Mark Dubois and Ron Coldwell, and was later area manager for ARTA on the Stanislaus, where he long lived down at “Fred’s Rapid” with his partner and wife (and guide!), Jaqueline Smithson. Fred was the man when it came to fixing whitewater rafting gear, here likely patching one of the venerable old etc basket boat rafts.
