The case for limited filling of New Melones – Best Friends of the Dam flyer (PDF)

A questions-and-answers flyer from “Best Friends of the Dam” (a play on the pro-dam group’s name), outlining in detail why a moderate New Melones reservoir size would be more beneficial than filling New Melones reservoir completely. It was developed by Kevin Wolf, who was extremely active in all of the late 1970s/1980s campaigns to save the Stanislaus River.
