Description:
Back in the day, telegrams (and mailgrams) were used for urgent communications. This flyer asks for those communications to go to several Congressmen to seek their support for HR 4223, the big effort to get the Stanislaus River into the Federal Wild & Scenic Act. (Alexander Gaguine wrote nearly all the Action Alerts from 1977 to the River was flooded. He was the most articulate voice describing the river thus engaging so many volunteers in the campaign.)
