1965 runs with Bryce Whitmore basket boats

Martin Litton (later of Grand Canyon Dories) was one of the early guides with Bryce Whitmore’s Wilderness Waterways, which pioneered rafting on the Stanislaus in the early 1960s. Martin was also a great photographer and captured these images during a June 1965 rafting trip – the one at left is at the bottom of Bailey Falls, while the one at right is probably the tail waves at Mother Rapid.
