1979 FOR Petition to State Water Resources Control Board re Decision 1422 and saving the Stanislaus River (PDF)

This 22 page (plus appendices) important FOR submittal to the California Water Resources Control Board followed an earlier report that analyzed why Decision 1422 could best be met by a reservoir behind New Melones Dam that extended no further than Parrott’s Ferry (except in rare floods) and most of the time would be far smaller, still meeting water and fishery needs defined by the Decision.
