Guide gear 1970s and on – Bernd Kutzscher's collection from ARTA days

ARTA guide Bernd Kutzscher worked on the Stanislaus in 1971 and in the following years, as well as Idaho, and went on to explore a river in Yugoslavia. His trusty Sierra Club Cup(s) was always with him, along with his 50 cal. ammo box (with half-inch hoopi cord tie line–nylon webbing) for day gear and his trusty Buck knife, sheathed at his hip for emergencies, or at least lunch!
