Description:
This photo was made into a poster by photographer Brian Fessenden, part of a series calling attention to the importance of the Stanislaus River. Standing near the rocks where you could jump off and swim a small rapid, he caught a nice view of Six Pack Rapid upstream – at low water it doesn’t look like much but a regular flows, it was a tricky run to do without hitting the downstream rock!
