Notice for 2009 “Spirit of the Stan” event in Angels Camp – 30th anniversary of chainings along the river

May 2009 marked the 30th anniversary of those who chained themselves along the Stanislaus River to halt the flooding by New Melones Dam – Mark Dubois, Alexander Gaguine and others all demonstrated their fundamental commitment to the river’s protection by these acts.
