Poem “Small Things” by Larry Orman (PDF)

This poem was written by Larry Orman in 1983 as a narration script for creating the “Small Things” slide show/video.  The 12 minute video was used at several FOR and other river gatherings over the years; Catherine Fox did the narration and other music accompanies the video. The poem is based on Larry’s personal experiences on the Stanislaus River, both as an ARTA guide in 1971-74 and a long time guide until the river’s flooding in 1981.
