View of the Stanislaus Canyon above Abbey’s Ferry and Sierra Club Rapid

This rare view of the Stanislaus River was taken up near the marble quarry, looking northwest down into the canyon at the location of Abbey’s Ferry (middle of image) and the entrance to Sierra Club Rapid, just out of sight where the river bends to the right. It’s in the same area as in this image (which looks upstream from Abbey’s Ferry), and this one which is zoomed in closer to the Sierra Club Rapid entrance.
