About the Stanislaus River photo book

The book features over 300 of the best images from the Stanislaus Archive, a 42 page, full color, hardbound 13″x 11″ book, “Down the Stanislaus River”. You can  (re)visit the river the way it was and fall in love all over again with your favorite places along it.

Because printing at this price requires pre-ordering, we need 10 or more to complete an order – AS OF NOVEMBER 2022, we don’t have anyone on the wait list, so it will take a while to build up to 10 for the order. Email us if you are interested in a book, we can update you on timing.

The book is organized the way the river was experienced – mile by mile, from the put in at Camp Nine, all the way down to Parrott’s Ferry and Melones. Each page features a place along the river, illustrated by several beautiful photos from the web site. Sample page images are shown below.
